Boundary Lines

Albion Online

The market, read once a week.

Every item in Albion was made by a player, which means every price is a decision someone made. We read those decisions each Monday and tell you what they cost you.

Issue #12 · Mon 7 Sep 2026

Silver bar supply reversed for the first time in five weeks.

Refiners have been running at a loss since the patch, and the backlog finally cleared. What that does to bar prices over the next fortnight, and what to do before it corrects.

What moved

The price changes worth your attention, with the size of the move and the volume behind it. Everything that moved on noise is left out.

Why it moved

Supply, patch effects, guild activity, season timing. If we cannot explain a move, we say so rather than inventing a cause.

What to do

A recommendation with a time window and a reason to abandon it. Craft, hold, sell, or sit this one out.

Five minutes to read. Nothing in it that a chart would have told you faster.

Decision Guides

Long-form · published as they finish

Guides that end with a recommendation, not a list of options. Each one takes a single decision and follows it to the point where you can act on it.

A clear plan for your first week — home city, weapon choice, gear tiers, zone risk, and your first silver.

Route risk against spread. What a black zone run has to pay to be worth the cargo you lose on the bad days.

  • Seasonal timing

Which markets reliably move with season start and reset, and how early the move begins before anyone announces it.

Method

A market call is only worth reading if it can be checked. These four rules are what make ours checkable — and what let you tell, week to week, whether we have been right.

  • 01Prices are pulled from public market data, not from a single city snapshot.
  • 02Every claim names the market it came from and the window it covers.
  • 03Recommendations carry a time window. Outside it, they expire.
  • 04When a call goes wrong, the correction runs in the next issue, at the top.
